The Oklahoma Clothesline

Now you can take kids to Braum’s, which is wonderful, or you might take them to the local Wal Mart or Target for a toy, which is also fun. But when you love Oklahoma and want to hand that appreciation down, you start thinking about putting those grandkids in the car and sharing some Oklahoma History. Our field trips have included the Oklahoma State Capitol, The Harn Homestead, Oklahoma History Center, a ride on The Oklahoma Trolley (OKC Streetcar), Kaiser’s Ice Cream, Oklahoma National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, Overholser Mansion at Christmas, Braum’s Dairy in Tuttle and Hunter’s Home(formerly George M. Murrell Home) in Tahlequah. We have just scratched the surface and the girls love it.  If you want to connect to place, you need to know about place!  Our place is Oklahoma!
